More troubling news from the family that once starred in the hit reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”
Collin Gosselin, the now-19-year-old son of Kate Gosselin, has accused her of sending him to an institution after he told teachers she was abusive towards him.
“I was starting to tell my teachers that, you know, my mother was … can I use the word abusive or are they not allowed to use that on air?” asked Collin during an interview for “The Dark Side Of The 2000s.” When a producer asked him if he was saying his mom was abusive, he responded, "Well, yeah, that’s kind of the reason why she sent me away.”
Collin was sent to Fairmount Behavioral Institute in Philadelphia in 2016 when he was 12. At the time, Kate said the stay was due to Collin’s “special needs,” but he now accuses her of “(putting) me somewhere where I couldn’t get the secrets out.”
